The one question that filters out most companies
Ask this first: “Would you pressure wash my roof and siding?”
If the answer is yes, hang up. High pressure destroys shingles and forces water behind siding. A real professional will tell you that roofs and siding get soft washed with low pressure and a cleaning solution, and that high pressure is only for hard surfaces like concrete driveways and sidewalks. - Cash only, no written quote, no paperwork.
- They cannot or will not show proof of insurance.
- They quote your house without seeing it, measuring it, or asking for photos.
- They plan to pressure wash shingles, vinyl siding, or painted wood.
- No company name you can find reviews under.
